Licensed Professional Counselor Emily Stell shares ways to identify and manage stress as a student, as well as build resilience through self care.
Counseling services are provided at no cost to students currently attending UAM. Counseling Services also presents programs and outreach workshops each semester. Issues that Counseling Services can help with include: conflict resolution, problem solving, feeling stressed or anxious, difficulty adjusting, having something you have never told anyone but feel you should, binge drinking or drug use, eating too much or too little, feeling like you can't go on, relationship issues, or if you've received counseling in the past and are considering it again.
Reach out to Counseling Services at (870) 460-1554 or email stellem@uamont.edu to learn more. The office is located on the Monticello Campus on the second floor of the Student Success Center.
