The first race meet of the CSCC and we have a combined Future & Modern Classics race at Oulton Park.
Easily one of the best and most challenging circuits on the calendar and it makes for some great racing.
Qualified 1st in class B80, 6th in the Future Classics and 10th overall on the combined grid.
Lost a couple a places at the start but fought to get them back only to have our progress halted by the safety car that came out after a collision at druids. The safety car was out for around 4 laps and some cars pitted instantly which meant they were able to gain massively as we pitted towards the end of the S/C period.
We went in to the pits 6th overall and came out around 12th but almost a full lap down on some of the front runners.
We finished the race 1st in class, 7th in the Future Classics and 15th overall.
Great pace in the car though so should make for an exciting season ahead!
