A short getaway to #singapore - besides visiting a few tourist spots, we went to a few fabrics shops:
1. SMH at People's Park Center has Tula Pink, Liberty, and other US designer and Japanese fabrics. Lots of quilting and sewing tools and notions.
2. The fabric market is above the People's Park Food Center, which is in the opposite building of SMH. The whole floor is for fabrics and some sewing/quilting tools and notions. Many Japanese fabrics are sold, and a few shops sell Liberty fabrics. I am not sure if we can buy less than a yard, but there's one shop that sells an off-cut fabric for just $3. The cut is longer fat quarter and some fabrics are in half-yard cut. So it's a good bargain for me.
3. Osman in Arab Street. They have a lovely Liberty fabrics collection and digital print Italian cotton.
4. Quilts and Friends at City Gate Mall, just around 500 m from Arab Street. This is a small charming quilt shop, that sells quilting fabrics and notions. Have a few pre-cuts too and they have classes and workshops too.
It was a great short trip!
Now it's time to think what to make with the few fabrics that I picked up LOL.
