We got to meet a soon-to-be campervan Ford E-Transit on the road! The van’s Spanish owners contacted us a while ago, and when they learned that we’d be in the area, they came to meet us to swap electric van build experiences.

It was so nice to meet them and see the E-Transit up close, as it looks like a fantastic base for a campervan conversion. In fact, if we’d buy an electric van to convert to a campervan right now, we’re not sure we could choose between the E-Transit and the Fiat E-Ducato!

Some pros of the E-Transit are its built-in outlets, charge port in the front (makes much more sense), the price tag and Ford’s experience with electrification. The last two are pretty important and might even see this van win compared to our E-Ducato, even though our van is bigger with a better range.
