In March 2018, Russian President Vladimir Putin unveiled to the world a new cruise missile, the Burevestnik (“Storm Petrel”). The missile was part of a whole slew of new nuclear delivery systems Putin claimedRussia was developing in response to U.S.“resisting arms-control negotiations, developing new missile-defense systems, and adopting a more aggressive posture in its nuclear strategy.”

Russia goes fishing for a nuclear propelled /nuclear powered missile. It is a hybrid powered missile, launch powered by gasoline/oxidizer, then the nuclear reaction on board is energized, and in theory it can fly indefinately, but so far it hasn't worked.
