First time racing round 1 of the Spring League @ Autobahn Country Club Kart Circuit! Every kid wants to be a racecar driver! Ever since I did a track day in my STI I realized I needed to actually attempt to learn how to drive… and was going to have to start at the basics of racing. A few buddies and I decided to jump in the @kartcircuitacc Spring Kart Lightweight Series to learn about what it takes to race Karts! We found round one right off the bat that this is a mental challenge like no other and this league is serious business! Unfortunately for myself, I failed to run a clean race starting 1 lap into my first race… the lessons were learned and I have a steep progression mountain to climb… best lap times started in the high 53s and crept down into the low 52s by the end of the night… still far off the 49s and low 50s the fast guys are running…. Both Sam and Chris broke into the 51s so I have some catching up to do! So the plan is to learn how to race karts and from there who knows… possibly get into racing our own karts then get back into cars and see how far we go with this! Sky is the limit! It’s a much different game than motocross and is an immense amount of fun!! I want to thank savagegeese for putting out a killer video about this league and this series!
