i didn't do a great job explaining what i was doing but if you watch you'll see that by simply applying pressure on the spool with your thumb while you reel back in the backlash you can easily get a braid backlash out... it also works with mono or floro but may take a few times of doing this back n forth and trying to be careful and not kink the line..
this is one of the reasons i prefer braid over all other lines... you simply don't have to worry as much about creating a huge birdsnest or destroying your line with a simple mistake...
