(Sacramento) – Assembly Speaker Toni G. Atkins (D-San Diego) convened a special joint session of the California State Legislature to hear an address from Mexico’s President Enrique Peña Nieto. In her introduction, Speaker Atkins, who represents the San Diego region, pledged to continue to work with Mexico on a wide range of shared concerns, including economic and environmental issues.
