One of the most unique things to do on Bohol Island in the Philippines is to visit the tarsier sanctuary. The Philippines tarsiers are the world’s second smallest primate measuring only 3-6 inches. They’re nocturnal and territorial, needing a lot of space around them. They are sensitive to noise and light and get easily stressed out so when you see them you need to be quiet and avoid flash photography. Please go visit Philippines Tarsier Sanctuary in Corella instead of the common tourist spot called Tarsier Conservation Area in Loboc. The one in Loboc is NOT an actual official sanctuary and the tarsiers there are not kept in the best conditions.
