The Big Share is a 24-hour online fundraising event to benefit the 70 nonprofit member organizations of Community Shares Wisconsin.
Each year, DRW staff participates in important public policy activities, such as collaborating with legislators, gathering testimonials to support bills, and ensuring passed legislation does not negatively affect people with disabilities throughout Wisconsin. These important activities mean that thousands of people with disabilities in Wisconsin and their families are able to fully participate in community life as our good neighbors and friends. These successes would not be possible without the funding of our supporters.
Funds raised by The Big Share will be used to continue to fight for the rights of Wisconsin residents to live full lives. Community share groups such as Disability Rights Wisconsin, Wisconsin Council of the Blind and Visually Impaired, League of Women Voters of Wisconsin and many more are working towards a fair, just community and protection of our natural resources.
