Abdul Ghaffar Khan was a Pashtun Freedom Fighter who was very much inspired by mahatma Gandhi.
He also followed the path of nonviolent for freedom of Pashtun people from Britishers.
In 1929, He started Khudai Khidmatgar movement against Britishers in northern west frontier which is now called Khyber pakhtunwa.
He advocated Hindu Muslim peach settlement.
When Muhammad ali Jinnah put 2 Nation Theory India and Pakistan he was not at all in the Favour of this concept.
But Congress Party Accepted this demand of Jinnah without consulting the abdul ghaffar khan.
He felt betrayed by this move and told congress leaders that “You have thrown us to the wolves”.
1988, When he was house arrested by Pakistani government, he got dead with stokes.
He was the only Pakistani who have received “Bharat Ratna” from India in 1987.
