Welcoming you all to Carnatic Veena Concert by Kum. Sangeetha Narayanan, on 11.10.2021, Monday at 7 PM IST, on the 6th day of Subham Navarathri Utsavam 2021.

She will be presenting a thematic concert on the theme NAVA-SOUNDARYAM - Presenting 9 Compositions on Devi by 9 different composers, in 9 ragas, explaining their unique lyrical or Musical aspect of beauty (Soundaryam) in the compositions.
This helps Rasikas to understand the beauty of the compositions, thereby giving more you while listening to them.

About Kum. Sangeetha Narayanan :

Sangeetha Narayanan, is a 15 year old, upcoming Veena player. She has been learning Carnatic Veena for the past 4 years, from Smt. G. Ananthy.

She has given many stage performances in her school functions as well as online Carnatic Concerts for Shri Thiagaraja Fine Arts, Rudhra Yaazh Academy, Trichy Sarathas Margazhi Utsavam, Divyalokah Margazhi Utsavam, Homage to Padma Bhushan Mysore Vasudevacharya, Pushkaram Trust, Nirvaana Academy of Music, Live4Youva, Hamsadhwani5, Bharateeya Kala Samithi and Global Veena Mahotsavam 2021 in Kalakendra Facebook Pages.

Apart from Performances, She has also participated and won prizes in many competitions some of which are,
1.‘Swara Visharad’ Title Winner of 7swarangal Online Carnatic Music Talent Hunt,
2. 2nd Prize for Veena in The Hindu Margazhi Classical Music Competition 2021 to name a few.

Apart from Veena, She also learns and plays Carnatic Flute, Violin, Keyboard, Harikatha and Vocal and has been giving Online Carnatic Concerts in Flute, Violin and Harikatha apart from Veena.
