Mood Designer Fabrics sent me the latest Swatch Club subscription box to try out - this is my unboxing, first impressions + honest review.

Each month, you can receive a box full of various swatches to build up a sample book of fabric on your own. Shipping is free and prices range from $20-$33.75 depending on the length of the subscription.
Good: Interesting selection of Mood fabrics, getting to touch and feel each one, plus there is a 10% coupon code in the box to use on purchases.
Bad: Only a few of the fabric swatches were anything I'd actually purchase, many were a bit "eclectic" for my taste. The boxes could benefit from more practical substrates and solids/prints.
Final Verdict: Mood Designer Fabrics Swatch Club would be ideal for someone who 1) Needs lots of fabric samples on hand 2) Buys a lot of fabric regularly.
While this isn't me, I greatly appreciate Mood sending me the subscription box to try out and feel it could be beneficial for fashion design and sewing students/professionals.
