Learning how to walk again has taken years. It was six weeks until I wiggled my first toe, four months in rehab, ten months in a chair, walking in a year but it's now been a decade to keep fighting for my ability to stay on my feet. A journey worth fighting for.
The Wings For Life World Run is coming up and I'm proud to be "Running for those who can't". Or rather... walking. Hopefully you find some inspiration in this and can join me in Niagara Falls to support spinal cord injuries. Cheers!

ABOUT KEVIN REMPEL
===================
Kevin Rempel has surmounted incredible life-challenges to reach the Olympic podium and now to bring his powerful message of hope and resilience to audiences through his speaking, writing, and coaching.
A freestyle motocross accident left Kevin an incomplete paraplegic and was told by doctors he would likely never walk again. His father, Gerry, was also paralyzed just four years prior in a hunting accident and had no chance of recovery.
Kevin was fortunate. With a little bit of luck and extreme amount of determination, he willed himself to move one toe, then another, and another until - eventually - he not only walked again but was able to become one of Canada’s best Paralympic athletes earning a Bronze medal at the 2014 Paralympics in Sochi, Russia.
Today, Kevin shares his personal story inspiring others that even when you have every reason to give up, you must keep going. By adopting The Hero Mindset, and by applying the principles inside The Resilience Toolbox, you too can become the hero of your own movie.
