The 8th Interstate Council of Ministers of the Central Corridor have this afternoon signed a thirty billion shillings initiative that is expected to generate feasibility studies to transform the trade route into a special Economic network. Member countries will undertake training at the Tanzania Maritime Institute, sort out visa constraints, expand cargo tracking systems as well as road user charges among others.
