This is my comparison of the DJI O3 camera with the Runcam Thumb Pro W, sometimes called Thumb Pro V2. I am only comparing the image quality, not the functions in terms of power supply or transmission.

If you fly an analog copter and the quad can't carry a GoPro, the Thumb can be a viable, lightweight alternative. If you are flying with a digital system anyway, it doesn't really make much sense to attach a Thumb. Unless you want to record a vertical and horizontal video at the same time, then the Thumb mounted vertically might still be quite nice. In this case, I would prefer to record in 4:3 with the O3 and create a vertical video from it instead of having two cameras in use.
