Haryana Police have handed over BJP leader Tajinder Bagga to Delhi Police. Delhi Police is now taking him back to Delhi from Kurukshetra. Earlier, Delhi Police had registered a case of kidnapping after BJP leader Tajinder Bagga was arrested by the Punjab Police, officials said.
Delhi BJP Chief Adesh Gupta said a complaint has been lodged at the Janakpuri police station in the national capital against Punjab Police personnel for allegedly beating Tajinder Bagga's father.
The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
