Returning Supercross Lites West contenders like Jake Weimer, Lites Sophomore Dan Reardon, Ryan Morais, Ryan Dungey, defending Lites East champ Trey Canard, Justin Brayton, Kyle Cunningham, and defending champ Jason Lawrence battle it out for the 2009 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Lites West Championship. This series features a season-long battle between Ryan Dungey and Jake Weimer. 1986 and '88 Supercross champ Rick Johnson designs the San Diego track. Ryan Dungey becomes the first Suzuki Lites rider to win in San Diego since Damon Huffman in 1995.
