For Tadka/tempering:
Mustard seeds-1 tsp
Cumin seeds-1 tsp
Curry leaves-12 to 14
Dry red chilli-2
Asafoetida(hing)-1/3 tsp
Red chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
Sambar masala or chicken masala-3 tsp
Cooking oil-2 tbsp
