For a future that's truly green, biodiversity education is non-negotiable! Within the framework of the #COP28, #UNESCOCampus organized a Masterclass diving into the heart of biodiversity issues for the youth.

More than 400 teachers and educators from 90 countries rolled up their sleeves to join the action!

On the agenda? 5 experts shared pedagogical tools and methods to shape youth understanding towards biodiversity conservation:

-Antonio De Sousa Abreu, MAB Secretary and Director of the Division of Ecology and Earth Sciences, UNESCO

- Sophie Palmer, Executive Assistant and Community Coordinator, Force of Nature

- Kimberly Preshoff, Science Educator

- Geoffroy Mauvais, Coordinator of the Program on African Protected Areas & Conservation, IUCN

- Felix Matschie, President, Eljojofe e.V.

- Garrette Clark, Programme Officer of Sustainable Lifestyles, UNEP

A solid biodiversity education either formal or informal provides an integral part to its conservation and protection.
