IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati has defended the commission’s decision to kick Ezra Chiloba from the chief executive officer’s job, opening a new frontier in the protracted leadership combat between the duo. Though Chiloba has been ordered to immediately surrender commission property in his possession, he insists the sack was not unexpected and blamed the crisis in IEBC on Chebukati’s poor leadership skills and indecision.
