I'm a Swedish woman living alone on my farm in a remote place in the Balkan Mountains of Bulgaria. In our modern society people take for granted that their house/apartment is heated up automatically. In rural Bulgaria YOU have to make sure your house is heated up and the way most people heat up their houses here is with wood in chimneys.
I had a big load of wood delivered that I can use in the chimney I just bought. Its increadable how well the chimney heats up the house, so no more sleeping with winter outdoor clothes and layers of blankets.
