Today, I made osso buco alla Milanese, a traditional Milanese dish featuring braised veal shank, and Milanese risotto (saffron risotto)!

Like all classic dishes, this was so tasty! I generally don't like using roux to thicken sauces but my choice to use it for this dish definitely was the right choice!
