The seventh event of the U.S Kids-NCBA Nairobi local tour at the golf club attracted 172 players aged between 5 and 18 years. New winners emerged once again as 11-year-old Mwathi Gicheru stole the show, firing the best score so far in the tour of four under par 72.
Adam Nesbitt was also in good form as he played a one under par 36 to win in the boys 9 year category while Gitonga Gitobu play a level par 36 to win in the boys 10 years category. Cherono Kipkorir played 3 over par 72 to win in the girls 11-12 years’ category, the best score for the girls. Hansil tank is back in good form as he shot 78 gross to win the boys 15-18 years’ category. The next event in the tour championship is on 22nd January 2023 at Muthaiga Golf Club where the top 5 juniors in every category for in the whole tour will be feted.
