Is Poultry Farming Still Profitable as it used to be? Well from my experience as a poultry farmer, l can say that poultry farming business is no more profitable as it used to be. If poultry farming is still profitable, why is it that many poultry farmers are closing down or selling off their farms. Especially poultry farming in developing countries are not profitable, even poultry farmers from the develope countries are having issues. High cost of production, high mortality, low consumption etc all contribute to the reasons why poultry farming is no more profitable
