Spill a drink on your keyboard?
Try this unconventional method to salvage your keyboard if you have spilt a creamy or sugary drink on your keyboard. You could possibly save the keyboard, so you don't have to go out and buy a new one. It's important to remove all the sugary or creamy residue as this attracts ants and can make the keys stick. Remember STEP 1 is to remove the batteries asap if you have a wireless keyboard or immediately disconnect it from power for wired ones. Either way, determine where the electronics are and remove them, BEFORE you apply this method.
In this video, I have a LogiTech wireless keyboard which has intact keys stuck to one panel. It can be very tricky if you have individual (loose) keys (and I don't recommend trying this method for those types of keyboards. Remember to never get the electronics wet with water. Try to use a cleaning solvent especially made for electronics like RF Electronic Cleaning Solvent No.1.
