Spicy Oven-Baked Fish and Shrimp
**Ingredients:**
- 2 fish fillets (best to go with seabass or seabream)
- 500g headless shrimp
- 12 small garlic cloves (or 5 large cloves)
- 2 teaspoons cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 small dried hot chili pepper (I got a really hot one)
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tomato
- 1 medium onion
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- Juice of half a lemon
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- Salt (to taste)
**Instructions:**
1. **Prepare the sauce:**
- Add the garlic, cumin, coriander, chili pepper, paprika, tomato, onion, olive oil, lemon juice, and tomato paste into a food processor or chopper. Blend until you have a smooth, spicy sauce.
2. **Season the seafood:**
- Wash the fish fillets and shrimp thoroughly. Place the fish fillets on one baking tray and the shrimp on another. Sprinkle some salt over both.
- Pour the spicy sauce from the chopper over the fish and shrimp, ensuring they are well-coated.
3. **Prepare for baking:**
- Cover the shrimp with aluminum foil to keep them juicy while they bake. The fish can remain uncovered.
4. **Bake:**
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Bake both trays for 25-30 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, remove the foil from the shrimp and continue baking for another 10-15 minutes to allow them to roast.
5. **Serve:**
- Once done, remove from the oven and serve the spicy fish and shrimp with your favorite side dish. Enjoy!
