The need for nurses across the country shows no signs of letting up anytime soon. Nursing jobs are growing at a rate that is more than twice as fast as other occupations. Year after year, the demand for trained nurses has grown, especially because most U.S. hospitals now require staff nurses to have at least a BSN degree.
Nurses who complete an RN program can become certified in more than 100 nursing specialties and pursue a BSN or MSN degree.
BSN graduates can pursue a career as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) by earning an Advance Practice Register Nursing (APRN) degree. They can also pursue an additional degree to pursue a career as a Nurse Educator or Clinical Nurse Specialist.
