A meeting called by the woman member of parliament for Katakwi district Viola Akurut and Usuk county Member of Parliament Peter Ogwang in Ojaval village in Usuk ended prematurely after some locals stopped them from speaking.
The meeting was convened to consult residents on the private members bill seeking to remove the presidential age limit.
Some residents accused Ogwang of alleging that the people of Katakwi district support the constitutional amendment.
In an interview, Ogwang told NTV that he has held four consultative meetings successfully in four different places and got the support of the people for the removal of the presidential age limit
