Overcast but no sign of the forecast rain here in Noosa this morning. A light 3 to 5 knot SSE breeze blowing at the river mouth and a small, sloppy swell on the bar. 'Murky as'. BOM forecast is for variable winds about 10 knots becoming south easterly 15 to 25 knots in the late afternoon then tending south to south easterly 20 to 30 knots in the evening. Gale warning issued. Seas: Below 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres by early evening, then increasing to 2 to 3 metres later in the evening. 1st Swell: Southerly below 1 metre inshore, increasing to 1 to 2 metres offshore later in the evening. 2nd Swell: Easterly around 1 metre.
