As we move into a new and exciting season on the pitch at Griffin Park, various improvements have been made around the ground. One of the biggest of these is a new ticketing system with Advanced Ticketing and TeamCard being introduced to make entry to the ground as easy as possible.
There are now four different ticket types, which can be scanned at the turnstiles to gain entry to the ground. Season cards, membership cards, standard tickets and print at home tickets.
Season cards, issued to every season ticket holder, will allow the holder access to every league match taking place at Griffin Park. To use, simply present it to the scanner – and with the green light the turnstile will be unlocked by its operator and you will be able to enter the ground. Season cards will be active for all league fixtures this season, and if you purchase a ticket to any cup matches online or through the ticket office, they will be added electronically so they will grant entry.
Membership cards are similar to season cards, only you will need to buy your tickets online or through the ticket office using your membership number before they will allow you into the ground. This feature is not active just yet. It will be available shortly after the season starts.
This season we are introducing the ability to print your ticket off at home, enabling you to avoid a lengthy queue at the ticket office before each match. Print at home tickets can be purchased up until fifteen minutes before kick-off. To use, simply head online to our ticket website – buy your ticket and choose the Print at Home option. Print off your ticket, take it to Griffin Park and scan it at the appropriate area to gain entry to the ground.
Standard tickets work in the same way as they did before, only instead of a stub being torn off at the gates – you simply scan at the correct entrance and the gate will be unlocked. Tickets can no longer be purchased at the turnstiles, and will need to be picked up or bought on the day at the ticket office located on Braemar Road. Due to the expected crowds at Griffin Park this season, this will be the most lengthy process – and fans are advised to purchase tickets online in advance in order to avoid a long wait or worse, missing kick off.
You may have noticed that blocks this season have been designated numbers instead of letters. More information on these changes will be displayed on signs within the ground, or on our stadium plan – found on our website.
