The rugged coast of Los Vilos has become a showcase for some of the most creative cutting edge Chilean architecture. The crashing of the waves against the shore, the sound of the wind whipping through the cliffs, and the sight of seabirds soaring overhead all add to a wild and untamed atmosphere, becoming a powerful source of inspiration and reflection.

Our solution creates a simple silhouette dominating a prominent cliff. It is simultaneously a beacon with strong footings in the rocks, providing a sense of stability and permanence, and a vulnerable delicate glass box hovering above the churning waves.
