In this video you'll find a Subbuteo training exercise that you can do at home on your own.
In this Subbuteo training drill we look at practicing blocking in front of the ball. The point of this drill is to get us used to blocking the ball making sure our defender gets as close as possible to the ball without touching it.
You can do this exercise with 1-4 balls and make sure you position the attackers in a variety of ways to get you used to blocking different directions that the ball could go.
In stage 2 we introduce a second defender, the point of this is for you to get used to blocking from different positions instead of just straight on.
