Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee was the only opposition leader to participate in NITI Aayog's Governing Council meet. She alleges the government of not allowing her to speak; she says that her microphone was switched off after 5 minutes whereas other chief ministers spoke for 15-20 minutes. However, CEO of NITI Aayog BVR Subrahmanyam replied to her allegations with proper facts. He told the press that every CM was allotted a duration of 7 minutes and same was the case with Mamata Banerjee.
