✅ Sci-Fi 2.0 - [ Ссылка ]
🌊 Twinsman - [ Ссылка ]
Two pretty different boards..but they have more in common than you'd think.
One's a five fin box with a bat tail. The other is a dedicated twin fin with a swallow.
So...which one you going with?
@firewiresurfboards Sci-Fi 2.0 Surfboard Description:
A re-release of the classic Sci-Fi designed by Daniel 'Tomo' Thomson in collaboration with Kelly Slater, newly updated in I-Bolic Technology from Slater Designs. Tomo says, "the Sci-Fi has been such a popular design and stood the test of time because of its functionality. It's such an easy board to ride. It gives the user an effortless sense of control and performance that you wouldn't get in a traditional shortboard."
Capturing the essence of Daniel's Modern Planing Hull innovations over the prior decade, the Sci-Fi 2.0 can handle and hold in significantly sized waves up to double overhead, but it still grovels with ease of speed in flat faced waves under waist high. Much of the magic in the Sci-FI 2.0 comes from Daniel's innovative approach to tail design and concave configuration, as the Sci-Fi 2.0 combines his original Double Bat Tail concept and his Quad Inside Single Concave.
The result is a board that controls speed uncommonly well for how wide its tail is, making the Sci-Fi 2.0 in I-Bolic Technology a quiver enhancement to anyone's board rack.
@Albumsurf Twinsman Surfboard Description:
This board will change your perspective of what a twin fin is.
User friendly speed, easy turns, and more waves without sacrificing performance. Approachable for any style of surfing. A board that you can really push on rail or just enjoy the easy down the line speed.
Paddles and gets up to speed faster than a standard performance board, but doesn’t have the limitations of a traditional twin. More pivot and drive off the bottom while fitting in tighter pockets and sections. Size it in between your shortboard and fish and don’t be afraid of extra foam.
Rocker Profile
Relaxed entry rocker lets more surface area contact the water, in turn creating better paddle, speed generation and momentum. Extra exit rocker allows the board to fit in steeper sections and be surfed more vertically than traditional twins.
Bottom Contour
Single concave under the front foot, transitioning into a slight double through the fins and vee off the tail, otherwise known as a spiral vee. The modern bottom generates speed, helps the board roll rail to rail and drive off your back foot.
Deck Profile
Flat/concave deck with foam pushed to the perimeter, quickly tapering into a modern rail. A flat deck distributes foam evenly throughout the board and under your chest, providing more paddle and allowing the board to be ridden with extra foam.
