It’s that time of year again; mid-October, and the ‘hunt for a leviathan’ continues for a 3rd season in Esox Diaries.
Over the last 3 winters, our goal has been a fish in excess of 25lbs, and this was achieved in season 1 where we finished our quest with a flurry of nice fish.
Season 2, however, was one to forget, with tough fishing experienced throughout, and the best fish only going to a mere 15lbs.
With this in mind, the goal, this winter, is still that big fish, but on a more realistic thought, all we really want is for it to be better than last year. We begin afloat, on a relatively new water for us, in the hope that we can get this campaign of to a flyer and get a few nice fish under our belt early.
