I see so many players who are running around gathering using tier 1 tools. In New World you want to upgrade to iron tools as soon as possible. This video will show you how simple it is for you to advance from tier 1 to tier 2 gathering tools and why you should prioritize iron over flint. I know this may seem like very basic common game knowledge but playing in the closed and open betas has shown that a vast majority of players are just running around in tier 1 tools not bothering to upgrade. It takes less than 15 minutes to dramatically increase your efficiency.
