We are going to be making a reading nook and go step by step through the process so you can do it yourself. This is by FAR my best project and video and I couldn't be more excited to share it with you! 😀

This reading nook is made up of wood tongue and groove boards for a wood panel look on the back wall.

The side wall is made up of a forest green color which accents the wood perfectly. Or does the wood accent the wall perfectly? Either way!

Then it is all capped off with a beautiful string of edison bulb lights.

A few other mentions - the wood is stained with Early American by Min-Wax and clear coated for a little bit of protection (and makes it easier to dust the walls), and a designer extension cord since it will be visible.

This little reading nook really helped finish off my kid's room remodel and now my kids have a their little adventure area ready to go!
