I (Tim Rogers) played the Japan-PlayStation-Store-only demo of the Yakuza team's new game, Judge Eyes: Shinigami no Yuigon. That means "Judge Eyes: The Grim Reaper's Testament." It's probably going to have a different title in English.

In this video, I walk you through the contents of the demo, translating the story parts along the way. I point out several indirect and direct references to Japanese television dramas or films. We find out how many degrees separate this game from Metal Gear Solid. We talk about what "The Law and Order of Video Games" would look like.

I had a very, very good time with this demo. Watching the Japanese trailers for the game just about makes me lose my mind. This is definitely the exact game I want to own and play. I can't wait for it to come out. Maybe I'll make some more videos about it when it does!
