The Indigenous Theatre Festival will specifically focus on cross-generational transfer of Indigenous languages through the medium of theatre, as all performances will be in an Indigenous language. This will be the first festival of its kind in Canada, but we hope to start a tradition that will showcase our language heroes in their efforts to invigorate their language through artistic expression.
