In a tight contest that saw 3 lead changes in the final 31 seconds, Wake Forest prevailed at home over Georgia Tech 71-70 on some clutch free throws from Tyree Appleby. Cam Hildreth’s game-high 19 points led Wake offensively, and Appleby added 16 points, 13 of which came in the second half. He also added 6 rebounds, 3 rebounds, 2 steals. Deivon Smith had 15 points for the Jackets and Ja’von Franklin added 14 points and 15 rebounds in the loss.
