The CAG report on the Rafale deal, which will be tabled in Parliament on Wednesday, is learnt to have offered a comparison of the cost of the French fighter with offers made by a competitor, the Eurofighter Typhoon jet, manufactured by a consortium of European firms. The CAG report on 11 acquisitions by the IAF devotes around 32 pages to the Rs 59,000 crore Rafale deal.
