Serratus Anterior Muscle (Boxer's Muscle) is an important muscle for shoulder stability & function. It sits on the side of the chest and starts from the first 8 ribs and goes underneath the shoulder blade to attach to its inner border. Its contraction causes the shoulder blade to move outwards along the rib cage and also rotate upwards which is required for optimal overhead shoulder movements.
