Italy’s Stromboli volcano spewed a massive plume of ash and lava in a second eruption since July.
It has been reported that lava running down the side of Stromboli set vegetation on fire.
Authorities have issued a ban on visitors for the entire day.
There are currently no reports of injuries. The previous eruption in July 2019 killed one person.
