Five states in India are currently dealing with the locust attack that is causing massive damage to Indian crops and farmers. The locust insects are not just destroying crops but attacking people and are damaging farmlands. The Northern belt of India that is Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, and Rajasthan are dealing with the heavy attack during the heatwave. Swarms of locusts are an unusual situation during this time. Jhansi was attacked by locusts and the fire brigade is helping by spraying chemicals. These insects move in a group and come out in the late evening from 6 PM- 8 PM. It moves along the direction of the air and highly dangerous.
