Be safe out there guys, especially coming into winter. What happened here was I saw another biker in front of me and starting following him, then I tried to keep up with him, but realised he was really going for it so I started to ease off. Then some cyclists started to pull out in front of me so I just started to slow down and then I just saw the bonnet of the car creep out. I hit the back brake (didn't have a proper front brake at the time) so the backed locked and skidded out to the right. Luckily the car saw me and slammed on his brake otherwise I would have gone straight into him. Funny thing is the whole two weeks before this I didn't speed at all, just doing my normal commute. The only day and only time that I started speeding this happened. You know what they say guys, speed kills.
