A silent sit-in protest was held at Keishampat in Imphal West, organized by Taragi Cheisu and other groups, to condemn the recent brutal killings of children and women in Jiribam district. Retired police officer Thangjam Brojen highlighted the failure of deploying central forces without a clear strategy, criticizing the reimposition of AFSPA and the erosion of ethical values and institutional authority in Manipur.
