- The BSL Consultation can be done online but if you prefer to give this in BSL, you can.
- There are two ways of doing this. Via the Facebook page or via the website. On the website, you can add an attachment of your video link and submit that.
- If you post on Facebook = this means it is 'public'. [People can see what you have signed.]
- If you post your video online, you can say if you want it published with your name, published without your name, or, not to publish and no name.
- The report about the responses to the National Plan - may refer to what some people or organisations have said.
- So you have a choice.
- 'Not publishedPrivate means it could be something which is 'for information' to the Scottish Government only.
- Best to stick to the point, give ideas, example or solutions - answer the questions.
- How will the Research group in the Scottish Government know what the BSL says?
- That's Linda's job. Gordon is the BSL Policy Officer. Linda, as BSL Communications Officer, is responsible for two things - managing the BSL Consultation Facebook page and translating any BSL video submissions into written English and passing this on to the Research Team.
- Remember, 31st May is the deadline. All work on the National Plan will then be in place for 6 years [from October 2017] until 2023 which is when the next review will be.
