A 21-year-old suspect was arrested in the south of Belgrade, Serbia, following a mass shooting on May 5, which police said left at least eight people dead and 14 injured. The attacker shot randomly at people in three villages near Mladenovac, some 50 kilometers south of the Serbian capital.
It was the second mass shooting in Serbia in two days. Reports of the arrest followed an all-night search by hundreds of police, who sealed off an area south of Belgrade where the shooting took place on late May 4.
A day early, a 13-year-old boy shot dead nine and injured seven at a school in Belgrade before turning himself in.
