Johan Walther, Supply Chain Manager, highlights a reduction of approximately 130 tonnes of carbon emissions per year and improved efficiency due to high-capacity transports facilitated by Scania's 74-tonne electric vehicle. Despite its weight, the electric truck operates smoothly and quietly, enhancing the local environment.
"I think it's great to drive an electric truck. I think it's very quiet and very comfortable to drive. Also, the power that it delivers is much more than I expected. More powerful than the normal diesel truck would be. It drives very great. Höganäs has set quite a high target to work with sustainability and the climate impact," says Daniel Zulewski who drives an electric truck.
